Global Facial Aesthetics Training Network (GFATN) provides world class education and training in non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures to impart dental practitioners with abundant confidence to integrate these treatments into their practices and venture beyond what traditional dentistry offers.

GFATN gives dental practitioners the opportunity to advance their skills, increase knowledge, productivity and profitability, deliver outstanding results in a safe and reliable environment, all with passion and expertise whilst assisting to empower their patients with a new level of self-confidence.

GFATN provides a support network of like-minded professionals to share new trends and opportunities and stands to encourage dental practitioners to incorporate dental facial aesthetics and diversify their practices successfully.

GFATN believes patient care is paramount and offers a continuum of education and training for dental practitioners to deliver a holistic service uniquely and individually tailored to the needs of the patient.

GFATN expands on the extensive knowledge of the traditional dentist whilst leading the profession into the future to fulfill the needs of a modern society.

GFATN believes without any doubt dental practitioners, with a deep and extensive level of understanding and knowledge of head and neck anatomy and a vast experience in injection procedures, are best placed to be leaders in facial cosmetic techniques and treatments.

We are excited to welcome  Dr Shaun Walsh and Dr Ronald Feiner to the faculty at GFATN.  Dr Walsh is both trained in dentistry and medicine and has special interest in aesthetics and skin cancers. Dr Feiner is an esteemed cosmetic physician and Medical Dean of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. They come with a vast wealth of knowledge and clinical experience in dento-facial aesthetics and are a great asset to the faculty.

Dr Shaun Walsh

Dr Walsh holds dual qualifications in Dentistry and Medicine, graduating in both with first class honours from the University of Sydney.

His medical interests began with surgery and critical care medicine, subsequently developing a particular interest in skin cancer, reconstructive surgery and cosmetic medicine over the last 15 – 20 years.

He is a Medical Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and a passionate educator in the field of cosmetic medicine with a focus on injectable cosmetics.

Having worked as a clinician in both fields and possessing a clear understanding of the dental skill set, Dr Walsh is an enthusiastic supporter of dentists who wish to incorporate appropriate cosmetic procedures into their practices.

Excellence through the pursuit of knowledge and experience to provide realistic, natural and age appropriate aesthetics delivered in accordance with the highest principles of safe and ethical practice.

 

Dr Ronald Feiner

 

After a wide-ranging career in general medicine and surgery, Dr Feiner entered the field of minimally invasive procedural aesthetics in 2000. Since that time he has attained 3 Australasian fellowships in cosmetic medicinal practice and he is currently the medicine dean of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery.

In addition to running a busy private cosmetic medical practice, Dr Feiner teaches trainees in cosmetic medicine, tutors in various cosmetic medical workshops and lectures nationally and internationally.

Dr Feiner is passionate about minimally invasive cosmetic procedures for facial beautification and his philosophy is to recapture the patient’s inherent youthful features without major risk and downtime.
